AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

The AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution exfoliates multiple layers of the skin for a brighter, more even appearance. Using alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), and a studied Tasmanian pepperberry derivative that reduces irritation associated with acid use, this at-home peel helps even skin texture, decongest pores, and improve uneven pigmentation. The formula is also supported by a cross-polymer form of hyaluronic acid to soothe the skin, provitamin B5 to moisturize, and black carrot for added protection.

Note: This formula contains a very high concentration of free acids. We recommend using it only if you have used acid-based exfoliants before and your skin is not sensitive.

The pH of this formula is about 3.6. Glycolic Acid, the main AHA used in the formula, has a pKa of 3.6; pKa is the most important aspect to consider in acid-based formulas. The pKa represents the availability of acids. When the pKa is close to pH, the balance between salt and acidity is ideal, optimizing the effectiveness of the acid and reducing the sensations of discomfort in the skin.
